Scouts & Parents,
We are making a slight adjustment to BORs. We will be holding them the 3rd Sunday of each month during the meeting (unless there is a conflict with a campout or school vacation). Scouts will still work with Dr. Evans on scheduling their BOR once they are close to completing a rank. We are asking parents to sign up for future BORs using the link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/20F0F4FACAE2DA4FC1-board. Dr.Evans/Ms. Jameson will reach out to you to finalize scheduling the week before the BOR.
We have two scouts ready for a star board of review. Because of leadership requirements we went to schedule them as soon as possible. Ideally we would do them at this weeks troop meeting but if we don't have enough non-program adults we will need to look for a separate time.
Wood Badge is BSA's top-notch, adult training course. Over two weekends, you'll learn how troops function, the mission and vision of BSA, how to work as a patrol, communcation skills, leadership skills, and more.
Camporee is March 22-24. We are defending our title from last year and the theme is Percy Jackson. We need to submit a headcount to register so the deadline to RSVP is March 8.
This weekend is Camporee! Meet at the VFW at 6 pm on Friday to depart. We expect to return around 12:30 on Sunday. As usual there will be no meeting on Sunday because of the campout.
Our Aug campout will be Aug 9-11 at the Narrows. This is a joint campout with Troop 280. The narrows is a beautiful location that we are very lucky to be able to camp at.
