A Mega training for adults is being offered at Lost Pines May 17-18. They are offering wilderness first aid (required for high adventure and recommended for campouts more than 3 hours from an emergency room) and Introduction to outdoor leadership (IOLS).

All adults attending the fishing campout need to complete the online safe swim defense course. You can find it at my.scouting.org in the Scouts BSA training section.

Any adult leaders going to camporee: please be at the troop meeting on 3/17 at 6pm. We will be discussing logistic and adult meal for the campout.

We need to do multiple BORs before the next COH. The plan is to do as many as possible at this weeks troop meeting. We need as many adults as we can get! Please let Misty Vest know if you are available.

The Alamo Area BSA Council will have their Fall Merit Badge University on November 4th. Merit Badge Universities (MBUs) are a great way to get merit badges done or started. This is not a troop event so those interested will need to coordinate and maybe register together.
